Meghalaya Travel Guidelines - The state has banned the entry of all tourists from outside starting 23rd April. Local tourism will continue, although places with high footfalls will be shut. A vaccination certificate will not be counted as an exemption. Passengers arriving without a test will be required to take a test arrival, and can quarantine at home or any other place until the test result is declared. For passengers from north eastern states, a negative RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours is valid, and a RAT test taken 48 hours within their arrival is valid. If passengers is only entering the state for a day, they will have to take a RAT test on arrival and exit the state on the same day.
