As winter comes, the softly falling snowflakes cover the environs in sheets of pure whiteness.
Almora - Kausani( 80 Kms - 2.5 Hours) After breakfast depart to kausani. Afternoon will visit Baijnath temple. Here you will see many ancient idols and will also come across mahashir fish in the river waters. At the end of your visit, take your time to look at the setting sun and finally the sunset. Also visit Anashakti Ashram where Mahatama Gandhi stayed for few days. It will be a memorable evening. Have dinner and rest for the night at kausani.
After Breakfast, this morning, wake up to the wide expanse of the famous Katyur Valley to experience the Kausani sunrise. Visit the 12th century Baijnath Temple(if missed on arrival day) and Kausani tea plantation. Also visit Anashakti Ashram where Mahatama Gandhi stayed for few days. The park was named after Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist turned author and photographer who spent most years of his life in this area and helped set up this park. Basking along the banks of the Ramganga are the slender snouted gharial and the marsh crocodile. There are watch towers, elephant safaris and jeep safaris for wildlife viewing.
After early breakfast. Check out hotel. Depart for Haridwar. On Arrival check in hotel. After fresh up visit Ganga Ji ki Aarti at Har ki Pori. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
